Andy Parkinson on painting

wrap-2

‘Each square is painted individually, in rows from left to right and from bottom to top, in one direction painted free hand whilst in the other direction using masking tape. Where they meet they get out of sync so I find ways to recalibrate. Then the canvas is turned 180 degrees and the process starts again.’ ~ Andy Parkinson
